This is a radio ad that is running during the Christmas Season 2009. The idea here was people are being swamped with classical Christmas commercials. We decide to do something different to grab the listener’s attention.

Is the Easter Bunny male or female?
Is it a voice you do or don’t expect?
Does it get your attention?

In producing a good ad you need to consider;

• How to end
• How to start
• What to leave out

Can you see these principles at work ?

In that order of importance. That is how we design commercials at DDR Media. It is not intuitive at first, but trust us it works. We have been designing this kind of stuff since 1982.
